PAULS VALLEY -- The kids are ready. The water is in. But there are a few more items to be handled before the opening of the Pauls Valley Water Park.

"These are all things that can be fixed in the next couple of days," City Manager James Frizell told the Pauls Valley Daily Democrat.

Remaining items needed, the State Health Department inspector told city officials, are signs around the pool, a water fountain, latches for a gate and a phone setup for calling 911 in the event of an emergency.

Then, when all is done, the opening can be scheduled.
