I am reaching out to various bar managers around town to get a feel for what to expect this St. Patrick’s Day, and I’ve got my first update for you today.
The annual St. Pat’s celebration at TapWerks Ale House is set for Saturday, March 15. Outdoor festivities will kick off at 10:30 a.m., with the downtown St. Patrick’s Day parade set to start at 11 a.m. (The parade in past years has traveled down Sheridan past TapWerks.)
TapWerks general manager Greg Powell said they expect about 40 beers on tap, food trucks, a liquor bar and live music all day.
In addition, COOP Ale Works will be on hand with a firkin of their famous Irish Cab Bomb Stout.
The outdoor party will run until midnight and will be all ages until 6 p.m. and 21 and older after that.
