“What now?” I thought. Memory revived interests pushed back during full-time newspaper work.

And then there were new possible interests.

So, I switched from busy past life to the luxury of lazy life.

I can be as busy as I want, or as lazy as I want to be.

I will always be devoted to news and newsgathering, and interesting people. But my interest is confined to newspapers and television.

I am not into the world of i-pods, blogs and baffling technology.

I start each day with a cup of coffee and The Oklahoman.

I enjoy life in the slow lane.
