Jets rookie wide receiver Jalen Saunders had to be physically restrained by three Florham Park officers during a seizure that occurred on Aug. 15, according to documents obtained by NJ.com.
"Subject suffered a medical event . . . and needed to be restrained for his safety," each of the three officers wrote in their respective use of force reports.
The former OU receiver has been medically cleared to play after missing the last two preseason games. He participated in practice this week, and Jets coach Rex Ryan said Saunders is expected to get plenty of playing time on Thursday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
