Do you see a need for panic after the performance of the Sooners against UTEP?

Panic? That depends on what the expectations were for this season. If you thought this was a national championship caliber team, then yes I'd say so.

However, I think they are still capable of winning the Big 12 if things fall into the right place. They've struggled in openers vs. mid majors before, so it isn't like this is unprecedented.

Is Roy Finch in Bob Stoops’ doghouse or is it a case of not performing in practice? It’s not a question of talent.

No, you're right he certainly is talented. I think he isn't doing some of the things in practice he needs to do to earn that playing time, but I also just think he is the victim of something that happens: other people are just better. Stills and Shepard in the slot, and Whaley and Williams in the backfield.

What can be done about OU's O line?

I think the o line needs more experience and more time working together. I have no idea if this is a group that is capable of greatness, but I do think they can play better than they did. After rewatching the game, I have toned down some of my criticism of the line. I still don't think Landry was even close to being the biggest problem but he probably could've gotten some of those passes off quicker. The line showed some good ability Saturday so we will just have to see.
