Jaz Reynolds, other players imitate Bob Stoops on ESPN show

One humorous segment on ESPN's "Training Days with the Sooners" was players imitating coach Bob Stoops' speech on players that violate team rules.

"You can leave here and go to East Popcorn State," wide receiver Jaz Reynolds says, staring at the camera. "You're done. You're outta here."

Cornerback Demontre Hurst said Reynolds imitating Stoops is legendary in the locker room.

"Jaz is almost coach Stoops No. 2," Hurst said. "He does him real good. We do it all the time. We make fun of all our coaches. But they don't know that."

Or do they?

"I've walked into the locker room enough to catch them," Stoops said. "It's not surprising to me."

Has Stoops seen the ESPN video?

"I have not," Stoops said. "(But) I was giving another one of those speeches just the other day about 'You're done.' They all started laughing. At first they tried to snicker without laughing. Then I started laughing so they knew it was OK to laugh.

"You have to laugh at yourself, too. And I do. I have no problem with that."
