Jenks beats Tulsa Union for Class 6A football title

— Cameron Booty rushed for 176 yards and a pair of touchdowns and Jenks recovered from an early deficit to defeat Union 38-22 in the Class 6A championship game on Thursday night.

Cooper Nunley also threw for 206 yards passing and a pair of touchdowns for the Trojans (14-0), who were led by Steven Parker's 164 receiving yards on five catches.

Union (11-3) had an early 7-0 lead after a 56-yard touchdown run by quarterback Mason Farquhar, who finished with 349 yards of total offense and accounted for two touchdowns.

It was the Redskins' only lead of the game, with Jenks scoring the next 21 points — including touchdown runs of 12 and 8 yards by Booty.

The Trojans led by as much as 24 points in the third quarter.
