Jenks safety Steven Parker, who is No. 1 on The Oklahoman‘s Super 30, said Saturday he will attend Oklahoma State’s scrimmage later that day.
Parker has more than 25 offers, including Oklahoma State, and has spent the summer narrowing down his options.
“I’m still kind of neutral,” Parker said. “I’ve definitely narrowed down some schools. I secretly have a top five, but I’m not going to let it get out.”
He went on to say he originally planned to commit before the season started, but he has yet to visit each place he wants to visit before committing. Now, Parker’s intent is to commit after the season.
Parker was in Norman earlier this week visiting Oklahoma alongside Tulsa Union tight end Carson Meier, who committed to the Sooners in May.
He was going to visit OSU on Thursday, but safeties coach Tim Duffie suggested he attend Saturday’s scrimmage.
Fellow Jenks safety Dylan Harding, who is No. 15 on the Super 30, committed to Oklahoma State on July 31.
