Why would James Harden talk about sacrifice and brotherhood at Thunder media day if he's leaving?

To answer your first question, my feeling is that he won't re-sign with the Thunder. I just think the money is too far apart for them to do a deal.

On your second question, I'm not sure why he decided to sound such a positive note during Thunder media day earlier this week. It wasn't something he NEEDED to do. Maybe that means he's more hopeful than most of us.

But here's the truth: even if he ultimately goes somewhere else, angering Thunder fans won't matter a bit. He will be gone. He will have a big contract. The hurt feelings of Thunder fans will be the least of his worries.

In 6A, do the western teams believe there might be a crack in the Union/Jenks armor this year?

Maybe a bit of a crack, but it sure seems to me that this season will end the way so many before it have -- with an Eastside team winning 6A.
