How will Landry Jones do against the Fighting Irish?

That's the big question, in my mind. If he doesn't make a bunch of mistakes, OU wins this game. But if he throws it to the other team or just gives it to them, Notre Dame will win. That's where this game turns.

I believe for Notre Dame to win, its defense needs to score a touchdown or maybe even two. For that to happen, Landry will need to give it to them. If he doesn't do that, OU will be hard to beat.

Could OU play for the national championship if it beats Notre Dame and Kansas State falls?

I still think at least one SEC team, likely Alabama, plays for the national championship, and the way things are going, I'd be surprised if Oregon or Oregon State doesn't finish the season undefeated. And that would likely put them in the national championship game.

So, OU is going to need some serious help. Also, it's not helping their chances to have teams like Texas and West Virginia falling on hard times. The Sooners need all those opponents to be as strong as possible to help their record look as good as possible.

Do you think Oregon will lose at all this year?
I like the Ducks' chances to run the table, but games remain against USC and Oregon State.
