nce is the only thing that makes me feel good."

On the 25th anniversary Dirty Dancing tour partnership with Skinny Cow.
"They wanted to do these screenings of Dirty Dancing on the big screen across the country, serve Skinny Cow, and have dance lessons so people can dance in the aisles while they watch it or dance afterward. Also, they found out from a survey that almost no women get to see their friends. It’s just a thing they don’t make time for. I know because I’m fortunate enough to have a daughter and a husband [Stella, 10, with actor Clark Gregg] and this beautiful family life that it had to come out of somewhere. Unfortunately, the people I end up seeing the least are my girlfriends. That would be really treating myself on many levels, the idea of going to the movies and a real movie screen — not watching it on your computer or television at home — having that communal experience, watching Dirty Dancing, eating ice cream and dancing. That just sounds like such a divine construct."

On her ideal Sunday.
"I would sleep in and take my dance class that my favorite teacher teaches. I would go to the farmers’ market and get all sorts of fruits and vegetables and flowers. Then I would come home, take a shower, and cook all the food I bought. I’d make spaghetti sauce and clean all my vegetables so everything is ready for the week and then make a really delicious dinner and have my family and some friends come over. I’d have a really cozy, yummy, early dinner and go to bed really early."
