A.R. Gurney’s readers theater production traces a 40-year correspondence between the staid, dutiful lawyer Ladd and the lively, unstable artist Gardner.

Performances are at 8 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. Sundays at the theater, 3700 N Walker.

Eight couples rotate in the featured roles.
