Feed The Children President Larry Jones calls lawsuit a distraction
Here is a statement released Friday by Feed The Children President Larry Jones:
"We simply cannot comment at this time about the lawsuit since litigation is in progress. "This is truly an unfortunate distraction and everyone with this ministry remains steadfast in carrying out our mission to feed hungry children around the world. On a personal note, Frances and I pray for this ministry several times every day. The Lord has never failed to see us through difficult times and bless the good work of this ministry beyond measure. "Everyone associated with Feed The Children is deeply moved by the outpouring of support we have received this week. It has been amazing and all of us thank you. We are moving ahead for the sake of the hundreds of thousands of hungry children we have fed since we began this ministry 30 years ago and the hundreds of thousands we will feed in the future, Lord willing. Rest assured we are not deterred, but we are determined. Please pray for this ministry, especially the wonderful children we serve.”
