Clayton Sims, a sophomore who accounted for two touchdowns in Jones' 21-19 upset of Tuttle, edged Destiny Christian quarterback Craig Hofeld by just 14 votes (358-344).

Jones quarterback Clayton Sims squeaked out a victory in the Fans' Choice City-Area Football Player of the Week online poll on Tuesday, sweeping The Oklahoman's weekly honors.

Sims, a sophomore who accounted for two touchdowns in Jones' 21-19 upset of Tuttle, edged Destiny Christian quarterback Craig Hofeld by just 14 votes (358-344).

Clayton Sims, Jones: 358 votes (25.23 pct.)

Craig Hofeld, Destiny Christian: 344 votes (24.24 pct.)

Jakcob Dean, Norman: 251 votes (17.69 pct.)

Chase Sparks, Putnam North: 165 votes (11.63 pct.)

Ezel McIntee, Edmond North: 156 votes (10.99 pct.)

Colton Lindsey, Christian Heritage: 145 votes (10.22 pct.)
