The five picks were the most ever thrown by an OU quarterback.

Jones’ first interception proved to be the most costly, leading to the only touchdown of the defensive struggle.

Early in the second quarter, Nebraska cornerback Prince Amukamara stepped in front of a Jones pass intended for Adron Tennell and returned the interception to the OU 1-yard line.

Two plays later, Husker quarterback Zac Lee found Ryan Hill for a 1-yard touchdown pass.

Said Nebraska coach Bo Pelini: "That interception kick-started us.”

Husker free safety Matt O’Hanlon finished what Amukamara started.

O’Hanlon had three of the other four interceptions. The first he returned 30 yards to set up a 28-yard field goal by Alex Henery.

O’Hanlon’s last pick ended the Sooners’ final attempt to tie the game with just a few seconds left in the fourth quarter.

I have a suggestion. Why don't we merge the OU and Texas Tech football programs. With the offense defense combo, we should win the next five national championships.

All kidding aside, I believe that Landry Jones will become an outstanding quarterback for OU. In my mind, he's a gamer. We need someone like a Tim Tebow or a Colt McCoy to lead our offense because, as we well know, Tim and Colt simply won't give up.

This experience for Landry will be good. And, he'll grow because he faced such adversity and survived, although he didn't win the game. Remember, Kurt Warner threw five interceptions against the Carolina Panthers two weeks ago. Yesterday, he throws five touchdowns against the Chicago Bears. Kurt Wagner has been a qb in the NFL 12+ years. Let's keep things in perspective.

Nebraska has great pride, and this win is very important for their program. It needs some impressive wins to move forward. This is definitely an impressive win.The best in a long-time.

Don't get me wrong. I am deeply disappointed frustrated with our offense and its management. But, it is Coach Stoops decision regarding the effectiveness of his coaches. Let's see what the remainder of the season brings. I hope it's all positive from here on out!

Most awefully boring game in Stoops time at Ou! If i have to sit that poorly coached excuse for a football team losing like that again i may just ban them on my tv until heupel is ocordinator. By the way landry just gave back up redshirt drew allen all the confidence in the world for being starter next season by last nights performance. That team has a lot to make up recruiting wise or its not gonna get any better with the players they have on the field now.

Landry will be a fine quarterback in the future. He's only a freshman and was playing in one of the most hostile environments in college football and against a very good defense. I'm in no way justifying his poor performance as balls were thrown way over receivers heads and behind them etc. It was definitely a very poor performance. But the fact is we made it into scoring position SEVERAL times and the friggin field goal kicker choked. Give us the three missed field goals and we win the game. As bad as Jones played we still had a chance to win the game.

I don't blame Landry I blame the coaches for not realizing that he is not a quarterback in no sense of the word. For heavens sake try someone else. Enough is Enough. I Love My SOONERS and will continue to back them but, Landry has to go.

I don't blame Landry. I blame the $3 million bonus man for putting him in an unworkable and thus ineffective offensive scheme that makes Jones look like a blundering idiot on the field.

You know it's bad when you get your own separate article for interceptions.
