Jones picks OU, leads Wagoner for now

WAGONER — A scholarship offer from Oklahoma was on the table for Gus Jones the last week of May. Jones still wanted to test the waters.

But for a kid who has always dreamed of playing football for the Sooners , waiting was too much.

The Wagoner running back and inside linebacker didn't take long before accepting OU's offer.

There were other offers, and Jones said he was seriously considering Arkansas ...
