Josh Groban is a man of many talents. Though he burst on the scene with his soaring voice, in subsequent years he has made a name for himself with his quirky, self-depracating humor (really, you should follow his Twitter feed! He's hilarious!), his acting chops (he played a nerdy cad alongside Emma Stone in Crazy, Stupid, Love.), and had impressive repartee with Kelly Ripa as her guest co-host on Live with Kelly.

Hollywood Blockbusters Turned into Broadway Musicals

At the Tony Awards on Sunday, he spoke to about his love of Broadway and whether he's seriously consdering making a run at a permanent slot in Regis Philbin's former seat:

On theater being his first love.
"When I was about 10, my parents brought back a videocassette or the show "Sunday in the Park with George." The show was very intricate. And Stephen Sondheim’s music has an adult theme and is very cerebral and brainiac, especially when you are ten. But the music and melodies touched me so much. From that point on, my parents took me to great shows. I grew up in Los Angeles so my parents took me to see Phantom of the Opera, Sweeney Todd, so many great shows. So I got the bug. And then I started writing and got signed to a record deal.
