EL RENO, Okla. (AP) — An El Reno man accused if strangling his girlfriend and her four children is expected to be formally arraigned in Canadian County.

Joshua Durcho is expected to enter a plea of not guilty Tuesday to five counts of first-degree murder. The 26-year-old ex-convict is accused of killing 25-year-old Summer Rust and her four children on Jan. 12 at the woman's El Reno apartment.

Canadian County Assistant District Attorney Paul Hesse says prosecutors also are expected to file a bill of particulars in the case on Tuesday, indicating their plan to seek the death penalty.

A judge also is expected to approve upcoming hearing dates in the case. Durcho has waived his right to a preliminary hearing. has disabled the comments for this article.
