A judge and her husband, who have been charged with fraud, turned themselves in this morning at the Oklahoma County jail to be fingerprinted and have their photos taken. Oklahoma County District Judge Tammy Bass-LeSure and Karlos LeSure were charged Friday.

Prosecutors allege the two became foster parents and then adopted twins that they secretly gave away to the sister of the judge's bailiff.

Prosecutors allege the judge kept some of the state funds paid her for the children's care and spent it on herself including at spas, nail salons and casinos.

Some of the funds were passed along to the bailiff's sister, records show.

The booking process took about 20 minutes.

The judge and husband then had their first court appearances on the felony case. Special Judge Russell Hall entered not guilty pleas on their behalf.

A preliminary hearing conference was scheduled for March 31.

As she left the jail, her attorney told the media she maintains she is 100 percent innocent.
