Judging judges: Democrats help give Bush mixed legacy

One of any president’s most enduring legacies is the imprint left on the country’s judiciary. It’ll be no different with President George W. Bush .

Bush will leave office with two appointees on the Supreme Court , Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Samuel Alito . At 53 and 58 years of age, respectively, Roberts and Alito figure to be conservative mainstays on the court for years.
