July 4th races have special meaning for Butler family

Celebrate America night was special for everyone at State Fair Speedway Friday.

Fans and drivers alike enjoyed the only night until championship Sunday on Aug. 31 that featured all five racing divisions, and everyone at the track was treated to a $12,000 fireworks display after the races.

But for Ricky Butler and his son, Ricky Butler Jr., Friday meant much more than any extra race or aerial display.
