The Norman Public Library, 225 N Webster Ave., has announced its computer class schedule for July. Classes are free, but registration is required. To register, call 701-2697 or go to www.justsoyouknow.us/norman.

Classes offered are:

Computer basics: 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday

Basic Windows 7: 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday

File management: 1 to 3 p.m. Friday

Microsoft Word (four-part class): 1 to 3 p.m. July 9-12

Microsoft Excel (three-part class): 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. July 9-11

Email basics: 1 to 3 p.m. July 13

Plan your way to research success: 12:45 to 2:30 p.m. July 18

Internet 101: 10 a.m. to noon July 20

Blogging for beginners: 1 to 3 p.m. July 23

Microsoft Publisher: 1 to 3 p.m. July 24

Microsoft PowerPoint: 1 to 3 p.m. July 26

Windows Live MovieMaker: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. July 26

Twitter: 1 to 3 p.m. July 27

Digital photography, photo walk: 10 a.m. to noon July 28

Build a Google website: 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. July 31

Tweens Microsoft Office workshop: 1 to 3 p.m. July 16, 17 and 19

Tweens learn to touch type: 1 to 3 p.m. July 30
