SOMERVILLE, N.J. (AP) — A New Jersey jury is deciding whether a former "Melrose Place" actress is guilty of aggravated manslaughter for a 2010 crash that killed a 60-year-old woman.

Amy Locane-Bovenizer has been on trial in Somerset County since early October.

After receiving instructions from the judge, jurors began deliberating Tuesday afternoon and concluded at about 4 p.m. without a verdict. They will resume Wednesday morning.

Locane-Bovenizer's blood-alcohol level was nearly three times the legal limit when the crash occurred on a dark two-lane road in central New Jersey.

The defense concedes the actress was driving under the influence but claims a woman was chasing her for several miles after an earlier accident, forcing her to drive above the speed limit.

She faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted.
