A jury of eight women and four men will hear the case of Rebecca Bryan, accused of murdering her husband, Nichols Hills Fire Chief Keith Bryan.

The jury was seated Tuesday after two days of questioning. Opening statements are expected to begin Wednesday.

Bryan, 53, blames an intruder for the death of her husband, who was shot inside their Mustang home Sept. 20, 2011. He died at a hospital the next day. He was 52.

Investigators turned their attention to Rebecca Bryan after a gun identified as being used in the shooting was found inside a clothes dryer at the home.

According to court records and testimony during a preliminary hearing, Rebecca Bryan was having an affair and called her former lover the night of the shooting; she left a message saying she still loved him and expected to inherit a significant amount of money.

Rebecca Bryan called 911 the night of the shooting and reported a man had broken into the house and shot Keith Bryan, saying the fire chief should have given him a job.
