Just For Kids: Fun Five for this week

1. Oklahoma RedHawks 2:05 p.m. Sunday when the RedHawks play the New Orleans Zephyrs at the SBC Bricktown Ballpark. Every Sunday throughout the season, the Oklahoma RedHawks are offering special promotions for kids who spend an afternoon at the ballpark. Sponsored by Sonic and Coca-Cola, the promotions feature inflat ables set up around the park, along with face painters, clowns and games. After the game, kids can run the bases during the Home Run Dash.

2. Pawnee Bill Wild West Show 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturdays at Pawnee Bill Ranch Site, Pawnee. Activities start about noon at the ranch and last until show time. A parade is held in downtown Pawnee before each show. Living history demonstrations, arts and crafts, food vendors and free tours through Pawnee Bill's mansion are available. Barbeque dinners can be purchased before show time. Held each Saturday through June 26.

3. Rocket Camp 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the OSU Extension Center, 930 N Portland, Oklahoma City. Kids, ages 9 to 18 can experiment with rocket science at this workshop. Each seminar participant will create, design and build a rocket, then launch it to see how far it will fly. They also will learn about model rocketry and space travel through hands-on activities. Participants should bring a sack lunch each day. Cost: $15. Registration required.

4. A Moth McDonald's? An idea for a nifty summer hobby is to set up a moth feeding station in the back yard. Children of all ages will be amazed at the great variety of colors and sizes of moths that will come to feast on some of the easy-tomake "goop that can be put in this special feeder. 5. Walking Tour of Cherokee Avenue 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday and Saturday at the Frank Phillips Historic Home, Bartlesville. This special guided tour features a walk through Bartlesville's history. The grand old homes of Cherokee Avenue housed some of the city's earliest leaders from pioneers to "sooners and oil barons. Learn about their lives and contributions to Oklahoma's history. The walk ends with a tour of the Frank Phillips Historic Home and Interpretive Center. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children.
