Justin Bieber to headline July 2 concert at Chesapeake Energy Arena

Justin Bieber will pop into Oklahoma City for a midsummer concert at Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Tickets go on sale Dec. 21 for Bieber's July 2, 2013 show in Oklahoma City to support his latest album, “Believe.” It will be the seventh show on the 18-year-old pop phenomenon's summer concert tour through North America.

Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster.com. Ticket prices will be announced soon, according to Chesapeake Energy Arena communications manager Ryan McGee. In addition, VIP packages will be available on the tour, including meet-and-greet and photo opportunities with Bieber. For more information on VIP packages, go to www.aeglive.com.

One dollar from each ticket will be donated to Pencils of Promise, which works to build schools and increase educational opportunities in the developing world. The goal is to build 15 schools around the world for needy children. For more information, go to www.pencilsofpromise.com.
