Justin Timberlake helps 'Tonight Show' numbers to historic high

Jimmy Fallon's first week as host of "The Tonight Show" was a ratings bonanza. For the full week, the show averaged 8.5 million viewers overall, making it the franchise's most-watched week since that of the "Cheers" finale averaged 9.1 million viewers back in 1993, according to Yahoo TV.



And it wasn't much of a surprise, with high-profile guests like Jimmy's pal Justin Timberlake joining him on the show Friday to the tune of 8.8 million viewers. The two performed another edition of "The History of Rap," getting the crowd on its feet. Then, Timberlake sat down with Fallon for two segments of fun, comedy, music, and impressions.
