Kansas freshman guard/forward Andrew Wiggins officially declared for the NBA draft on Monday.

Wiggins announced his decision at a press conference along with his parents and coach Bill Self.

With questions about teammate Joel Embiid's injury history, Wiggins is widely projected to be the No. 1 pick in the NBA draft this summer. Wiggins averaged 17.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists a game in his lone season at Kansas, winning Big 12 Freshman of the Year honors.

Wiggins is on top of a number of mock draft boards, including CBSSports.com, Draft Express and ESPN.
