Woman dies in Oklahoma crash

— A Kansas woman died in a head-on collision in Kay County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported. Jessica Treat, 52, of Oxford, Kan., died of injuries suffered in the crash about 7 p.m. Wednesday at Union Street and Ferguson Street north of Ponca City, the patrol reported. Treat was a passenger in a car driven by Bobbie Lee Treat, 74, of Oxford. Treat was driving northbound and passing two other vehicles on a hill when his vehicle hit a sport utility vehicle driven south by Amber Deshawn Chaney, 32, of Blackwell, troopers said. Chaney and passenger Neil McMartin, 33, of Blackwell, were treated at a Ponca City hospital and released. Bobbie Lee Treat was admitted to the hospital with head, internal trunk and arm injuries, the patrol reports. Seat belts were in use by everyone involved except McMartin.
