Katfish Kitchen — much more than catfish

It isn’t too surprising that along with the excellent food, Katfish Kitchen offers friendly, hospitable service.

Because Tahlequah is home to Northeastern Oklahoma State University, some of the servers are college students, working their way through school; however, a number of them have come and stayed.

One server came there to work, but met her husband, one of the cooks, there. They continue to work there, and have added a baby to their family.

There are a number of fast-food establishments and chain restaurants in Tahlequah, but a stop at Katfish Kitchen is a must, an opportunity to enjoy the food and ‘flavor’ that John Garrison is making famous.
