"Whenever you get to the line like that, you’re in a good groove and you have to attack the basket,” said Knicks guard Al Harrington. "Kevin has great balance. He’s able to both shoot the ball and drive.”
Knicks forward David Lee said: "He’s one of the best players in the league. He can score a variety of ways. He gets a high volume of shots and gets to the foul line. That’s where he killed us tonight.”
Fourth in the league in scoring, Durant has scored 30 or more points in nine of the Thunder’s last 11 games. Oklahoma City is 8-3 over that span.
"Kevin has a knack for drawing contact, he attacks the basket and he’s long,” Brooks said. "What I liked tonight is they did a good job early on of making him pass out of it by double-teaming. Kevin did a good job of finding guys for open shots. That’s also part of his game.”
