The Oklahoma City Thunder's Kevin Durant is on the verge of starting his first NBA All-Star game.
In the fourth and final update for NBA All-Star balloting, Durant remains atop fan voting among Western Conference forwards. Durant has garnered more than 1.2 million votes, second only in the conference to Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant.
Durant leads Denver forward Carmelo Anthony, who is second among West forwards by roughly 300,000 votes.
The top two forwards, as voted upon by the fans, will start the Feb. 18 All-Star game in Los Angeles.
The game's starters will officially be announced Jan. 27 on TNT.
Paper balloting for the All-Star game ends Jan. 17, while online voting ends Jan. 23..
