Kevin Durant told reporters at Team USA Basketball camp on Tuesday that he loves it in Oklahoma City, but doesn’t know what will happen when free agency hits in 2016.

“I’m going to do what’s best for me,” Durant said. "It’s hard to talk about that right now when I’ve got two years left in Oklahoma City.”

In the wake of LeBron James’ decision to return to his native to Cleveland and play for the Cavaliers, the talk has turned to Durant’s possible return to his hometown. The league MVP said he’s well aware that people are talking about his impending free agency in two years.

Durant also said he was a fan of James’ decision to return to play home, but added that he’s not going to make a decision based on what anyone else in the league does. Durant said that he thought James decision to go back to the Cavs was "classy" and "well-thought out."

You can speculate all you want about whether Durant is going or staying in 2016, but it’s clear that he loves both Oklahoma City and the Washington D.C. area. There’s no telling what will change between now and 2016 for both franchises.
