Kevin Durant ranks MJ, Kobe as top two of all-time Published: March 14, 2014

Kevin Durant and LeBron James are the top two players in the NBA now. Once upon a time, Kobe Bryant was in that discussion.

Durant still holds Bryant is high regard. In a piece by the Los Angeles Times' Mark Medina, Durant, who calls Bryant a friend, said that Michael Jordan and Bryant are the top of the mountain when it comes to skill.

“He’s the greatest of all time. His skill is second to none. Him and MJ are neck and neck as far as skill,” Durant said in the story. “Kobe is the top two best ever in just having skill, footwork, shooting the 3, shooting the pull-up, posting up, dunking on guys and ball handling. Kobe and Jordan are 1 and 1A.”
