Bittersweet might be the best way to describe the 2013-14 season for Kevin Durant.

Durant won his first MVP and fought through the absence of Russell Westbrook for much of the season to lead the Thunder to another deep playoff run. At the same time, the Thunder again fell short of an NBA title.

In a sit down with Lang Whitaker, Durant shed light on his season and talks about everything from his latest shoe to why he couldn't watch the San Antonio Spurs celebrate their title.

He also added some insight on his MVP acceptance speech.

"I watched it once just to see the reactions of my teammates, see them crying," Durant said.
