Kids' Christmas Party set for Thursday at mission

City Rescue Mission has partnered with an oil and gas company called JMA for two years to provide a Christmas party for children.

This year's event will include several stations throughout the gym. Children staying at the mission will come and enjoy cookie-decorating, crafts and games.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be making an appearance.

More than 50 children and their families are expected to attend this fun event, 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20 at the mission, 800 California Ave.
