ROSWELL, Ga. (AP) — Consumer goods maker Kimberly-Clark said Wednesday that it will sell surgical gowns and packs to Premier, a health care alliance, under a new three-year contract.
Kimberly-Clark said the contract will start Jan. 1. The company did not say how much revenue it expects from the deal.
Premier Inc. says it is made up of 2,900 hospitals and 100,000 alternate sites. It is based in Charlotte, N.C.
Kimberly-Clark Corp. makes consumer products such as Kleenex tissue and Huggies diapers.
Its shares rose $1 to $94.19 in morning trading.
