Kingston woman dies in accident on Marshall County road

KINGSTON — A Kingston woman died Thursday after a two-vehicle accident on a Marshall County road, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Boyer died after a pickup hit the sport utility vehicle in which she was riding.

Troopers said the SUV was northbound just after 4:15 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of a county road and State Highway 70-A, when a westbound pickup ran a stop sign and hit the passenger side of the SUV, troopers reported.

The driver of the SUV, Allen T. Boyer, 37, of Kingston was treated and released at a Madill hospital.

The pickup driver, Christopher C. Bailey, 37, of Kingston suffered minor injuries.

A pickup passenger, Lateresa G. Pitts, 37, of Kingston was not hurt.

Mary Boyer was the only one involved in the crash who was not wearing a seat belt, troopers said.
