Kitty litter -- 7 little felines -- saved from dumpster Published: May 15, 2013

CHICKASHA -- Authorities are continuing their investigation of how seven kittens ended up in a dumpster at a Chickasha apartment complex.

They have their suspicions.

The mini-felines were most likely dumped in the trash, constituting a case of animal cruelty, said James Kasper, supervisor at the Chickasha Animal Shelter.

He told the Chickasha Express-Star: "It's always possible that their mom gave birth to the cats in there, but it's more likely that someone threw them in there."

Kasper and his staff are bottle feeding the little cats and hope they will recover so they can be adopted.
