Knowing family medical history can be lifesaver
In May 2008, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian cancer, which has a survival rate lower than 50 percent. My goal was to live to see my youngest granddaughter turn 1 year old. I am incredibly grateful to say we celebrated her third birthday in July.
