TULSA -- A dog doesn’t have to be aggressive to get the point across that a stranger isn’t welcome in your home, says Fox23. Police say they can be very helpful during a time like this.
No matter the size, and no matter the breed, Tulsa police chief Chuck Jordan said if you’re a woman and you live alone, getting a dog for protection isn’t such a bad idea.
Evan Fadem with the Humane Society of Tulsa agrees. “One of the best ways to protect yourself and to feel safer is with a dog,” Fadem said.
