KSBI-52 joining MyNetworkTV

KSBI TV will join MyNetwork TV in September.

Starting Sept. 17, KSBI-52 will become a MyNetworkTV affiliate and premiere a new format of first-run comedies and dramas, as well as expand its locally produced programs, the station announced.

Owned by the Family Broadcasting Group, the station has heavily invested in sports and syndicated programming that includes Texas Rangers baseball and SEC football.

The station's new fall schedule will include “Law & Order SVU,” “House,” “Monk,” “White Collar,” and “Numb3rs” as part of MyNetworkTV, as well as first-run programs including “The Border,” “Collector,” “Jeremiah,” “Leverage,” “Unsealed,” “Mr. Box Office” and “First Family.”

KSBI's locally produced “OK Sports Wrap” will expand to 6:30 to 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Other programs include “Oklahoma Live” at 1 p.m., “Rodeo Opry Sundays” at 8 p.m. Sunday and “Oklahoma Cooks” at 6:30 p.m. Saturday. “Mind Games” will expand to include the original college games at 6 p.m. Sunday followed by a new high school edition of the games at 6:30 p.m.
