Army Week begins tonight on KSBI’s new trivia game show, “Wild Card,” which is featuring all U.S. Army contestants this week. The Christmas week of shows will include holiday trivia questions with special prizes valued at nearly $10,000.
“Wild Card” with Oklahoma’s Ed Murray airs Monday through Friday at 6:30 pm and again at midnight.
“Wild Card’s” Christmas Army games were KSBI’s way of making the holiday’s a little merrier for some of Oklahoma’s heroes.
“The United States Army serves our country tirelessly and our goal is to very simply say, ‘Thank You.’ ‘Wild Card’ is a fun way of allowing the community to enjoy and support them while playing along at home,” says Vince Orza, President and CEO of KSBI Television, in a news release.
The 15 Army contestants are all recruiters serving the U.S. Army recruiting office in Oklahoma City.
“We were surprised and honored to receive this request from KSBI,” says Capt. Jonathan Steiber in the release.
Prizes for the “Wild Card Holiday Heroes” episodes were provided by Bob Mills Furniture, Naifeh Fine Jewelry, Penn Square Mall, Quail Springs Mall, Sooner Mall, Homeland, Oklahoma Employee Credit Union, BC Clark, Helzberg Diamonds, Hal Smith Restaurant Group, Yankee Candle, Legacy Cleaners, The Body Shop, The Buckle, Old Germany Restaurant, HuHot Mongolian Grill and many more.
Orza notes ‘Wild Card’ will be hosting members of all the branches of the U.S. Military in future ‘Wild Card’ games.
KSBI’s ‘Wild Card’ airs at 6:30 p.m. and midnight Monday through Friday on KSBI 52.1, Cox 7 & 707 HD, ATT U-verse 52 & 1052 HD, Dish 52 and DirecTV 52.
