Kyle Greig earns USL Pro Player of the Week

The United Soccer League’s Pro Division announced on Tuesday Kyle Greig as Player of the Week.

Greig scored the first goal in franchise history for Oklahoma City Energy FC on Saturday night in a 2-0 win over the Orange County Blues. Greig also recorded an assist in OKC’s 4-2 loss to Los Angeles on Monday night.

Joining Greig on the USL Pro team of the week is Tarek Morad. OKC’s midfielder helped the defense maintain a shutout at UC Irvine, where Morad played collegiate soccer.

Gareth Evans and Nate Shiffman were selected as honorable mention for the team of the week. Shiffman recorded the second goal in Energy FC’s defeat of Orange County.
