Pohl and Traylor-Bennett connected again for a 28-yard touchdown strike in the third quarter.
Pohl was 22 of 35 for 304 yards without an interception. Redshirt freshman Tommy Woodson threw a 40-yard touchdown pass to Austin Wolf in the fourth quarter to cap the scoring for Akron.
