Medrano also said it’s quite common to see La Luna owner Cindy Cabrera busy in the kitchen creating one of the restaurant’s famed dishes.

During happy hour, 3 to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday, patrons can enjoy $1 Bud Light or $3.50 margaritas. And for those wanting authentic tacos, La Luna at Campus Corner offers Taco Tuesdays, Medrano said. Customers can get $1.50 carne asada tacos.

The Norman location also offers brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.

All brunch items, excluding the breakfast burrito, are served with a side of beans and Mexican potatoes.
