How dry is it in Oklahoma?
→January is typically the driest month in Oklahoma, followed by February and December, according to the Oklahoma Climatological Survey. In south central Oklahoma, the 120-day period from Sept. 23 to Jan. 20 is the second-driest on record, averaging 3.15 inches of precipitation, more than 9 inches below normal. East central Oklahoma has precipitation deficits of more than 10 inches, and southeast Oklahoma is 10 inches below normal.
