Lady Antebellum cancels Oklahoma City show

Grammy-winning contemporary country trio Lady Antebellum has canceled its Oklahoma City show and delayed the start of its 60-city tour from November to January.

Lady Antebellum's concert scheduled for March 27 at Chesapeake Energy Arena has been canceled, the venue announced this week.

All tickets that were purchased online through will automatically be refunded. For all other purchases made, ticket holders are instructed to go back to the point of purchase for refunds, according to the news release.

For more information on refunds, ticket purchasers are encouraged to call Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000.

The contemporary country trio, which recently released a new single titled “Compass,” announced this week on its website that it is delaying the start of its 60-city concert tour, which was scheduled to launch Nov. 8 in Southaven, Miss.

The first leg of the “Take Me Downtown Tour,” featuring special guests Kip Moore and Kacey Musgraves, now will kick off Jan. 10 in Peoria, Ill. The group is releasing a deluxe version of its latest album, “Golden,” in November and attributed the tour delay to the new release.

“To accommodate the new release and in order to give you guys the best show possible, we've had to move things around on our tour schedule. We hope these changes aren't too much trouble for you, and that we'll get to see you in one of the more than 60 cities the tour will hit next year,” the band said in its message on

The Grammy-winning trio, which consists of Hillary Scott, Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley, has been on hiatus since Scott gave birth to a daughter in July.
