An undercover sting at Lake Hefner's Hobie Point has resulted in multiple arrests on complaints of engaging in acts of lewdness, police said.
A four-day operation netted 34 arrests, police said Wednesday.
A man sailing with his two children told police he saw two men having sex on the road at the Hobie Point area. Police said that prompted the sting operation.
Those arrested include a state Health Department worker, an Oklahoma County jailer and an Oklahoma Heart Hospital nurse assistant, police reported.
The men were accused of engaging in an act of lewdness in a public place. One man was arrested on a felony county warrant and two men were booked complaints of marijuana possession.
The park has been the site of undercover sting operations that have targeted lewd acts in the past.
In 2009, police arrested 16 men there on complaints of engaging or offering to engage in lewd acts.
