Land run fun comes to Chisholm Elementary School

Students marked the anniversary week with a re-enactment of the land run and a hootenanny inside the school's cafeteria.

EDMOND — Chisholm Elementary School held a hootenanny Friday at the school in conjunction with the anniversary of the Oklahoma land run.

Students registered for the land run and received certificates for their claim. There were also covered wagons and stick horses that took part in a re-enactment of the land run. The events were capped off by a dance in the school cafeteria.
